Hugh
Adcock was one of many good players to
appear for City in the 20's and 30's. Adcock played for City from
his debut in 1923 and 12 years on until 1935. Adcock was an England
international with 5 caps.
Adcock scored 51 goal in 434 league games for City. He was a
traditional classic winger.
Adcock was a key player for City in the 28-29 season, ending
runners-up in the league.
"Hughie" made up a great striking force with Hine, Duncan and
Chandler.
