Ian
Andrews was a talented goalkeeper and one
that everyone thought would follow in the footsteps of Gordon Banks,
Peter Shilton and Mark Wallington, but was sold to Celtic for six
figure fee.
Andrews made his City debut as a teenager, and played 126 league
games from 1982 to 1988.
Andrews is capped once at England U.21 level, but never got a full
England call up.
Andrews returned to Leicester in 1997, as a cover and goalkeeper
coach.
