Deadline is close, will City join the race
Could it be more players on the way in

THE CUNNING FOX, 01.09.2009

Nigel Pearson has been a busy man over the summer and done quite a deal on the transfer market. The latest player in is Man City defender Ryan McGivern. McGivern has previously been linked from our site, but nothing happened before yesterday and McGivern will be with the club on loan until January.

McGivern in Northern Ireland international who have more full caps for his country that first team games in the league. He has never played in the Premier League for City, but played five games for Macclesfield while on loan there last season.

News today are that Max Gradel could join Southampton on a short term loan deal. He has not managed to get much 1st team games this season and is used to League 1 level football after last season at Leicester and his impressive loan at Bournemouth a year before that.

Levi Porter and DJ Campbell are both also rumoured to be on the way out, but as we all know loan deals can be arranged also after the deadline so things could go a bit slower with them.

No new players are currently linked with the club in the late hours before the window will close.
