International duty
Going away to play for your
country

A number of
Leicester players will be out on international duty this week, with
games next Saturday and Wednesday. A number of City youngsters have
also been named in the Rep of Ireland and England youth squad.
Liam Moore was on duty for England in their U.17 clash with Turkey
and Kevin Knight and Shane Byrne has been part of the Republic of
ireland U.17 squad for the Syrenka Cup in Poland.
Andy King is in
the Wales U.21 squad that will take on Russia in Cardiff this Friday.
Ryan McGivern, who recently joined us on loan from Man City, is in
the Northern Ireland squad that will play Poland and Slovakia.
Players such as Steve Howard and Paul Gallagher, could if they
continue to impress for City be in line for a return to the Scotland
set up, but for now they are not in there.
Former foxes Callum Davidson and Emile Heskey are both members of
their countires full squads for the next internationals coming up.
Davidson is in the Scotland squad for their crucial clash with
Holland and Heskey has been named in Capello's squad for their
games. |
