10 game law
City's clash with Middlesbrough
will give the answers
THE CUNNING FOX,
27.09.2009
City will play
Middlesbrough on Tuesday and this will be a very special game. This
is the 10th game of the season. Why is it so important. The answer
is, it tells you were we will finish at the end.
A win will give us hope of a play-off position, a loss will give us
more or less a mid table run for the 2009-2010 season. The situation
in past seasons shows that we will be 3 place up or 3 places down
from the position we have after 10 games.
We are 10th at the moment and the play-off's are in reach, and with
a great result away to Middlesbrough we will be three points closer
to the play-off positions.
Here are City's positions after 10 games in the last five seasons
2003-2004, Premier League, 10 games, 20, Finish, 18
2004-2005, Championship, 10 games, 16, Finish, 15
2005-2006, Championship, 10 games, 16, Finish, 16
2006-2007, Championship, 10 games, 19, Finish, 19
2007-2008, Championship, 10 games, 17, Finish, 22
2008-2009, League 1, 10 games, 2, Finish, 1
We are all excited by the game coming up on Tuesday |
