City in the race for promotion
Win at Riverside makes TCF believe it's possible

THE CUNNING FOX, 30.09.2009

10 games are played, and as you have seen before, the table in the end looks almost simular to the one after 10 games. City are flying high in and around the play-off positions and only four points from the 2nd place.

Nigel Pearson made four changes to the team in front of the game against Middlesbrough. Tunchev and Wellens are both injured, Hobbs and King replaced the pair.

Michael Morrison was back in the team after being left out after the first two games. Robbie Neilson has not been able to impress and looks unsettled in the City team. Morrison never let anyone down yesterday and did his defensive job 100 %.

Steve Howard was left out, giving Yann Kermorgant his first start of the season. Howard came on in the 2nd half and helped us getting three points with a good performance.

City have shown that they can cope with any team in this division and the win away to Middlesbrough and the 1st half performance at Vicarage Road shows the quality in the team.

Let's hope that Pearson and his lads will keep on fighting and be a real contender for a promotion spot. The team as it is today might not be a Premier League outfit, but further progression from youngster such as Dyer, King, Adams, Hobbs, N'Guessan, Morrison will give us great confidence.

Berner, Brown, Wellens, Oakley, Gallagher and Weale are all experienced and if they can stay fit and play well in all, City will be a handfull for every team in this division.
