Robbie Nelson turning fans around
Never say never in football

THE CUNNING FOX, 01.11.2009

TCF has been at 4 games this season and also listened live on all other games. I must admit that I am a great Michael Morrison fan, and I really like the player.

The fact that he has lost his place in the first team to Robbie Neilson is for me a bit disapointing, but I must admit that in recent games Robbie Neilson has looked fresh and more adapted to the game in the Championship.

The former Hearts defender joined City from the Scottish club in the summer, and is also a player who has been capped at full international level.

Nigel Pearson knows his players well and he has done a fantastic job with Neilson since the season start. The fact that Michael Morrison, with Tunchev out, is our only cover in central defence makes it easy to see why Pearson is eager to see Neilson perform well.

If Michael Morrison has to cover in the central of defence, the team needs a good right back that is certain about his job and knows his position.

Pearson has 19 to 20 players now that has all played well in the Championship and can perform and give City their best.

Weale - Neilson, Morrison, McGivern, Berner, Brown, Tunchev, Hobbs - Wellens, King, Oakley, Dyer, N'Guessan,
Adams - Gallagher, Kermorgant, Waghorn, Howard, Fryatt, Campbell

Are all ready to do a job. With Max Gradel also in contention it looks as a solid squad of players that are capable of doing a fantastic job for the club.

We all have to agree that Nigel Pearson so far has done a magnificant job and as long as the team play the football they do at the moment and also manage to win on a difficult day, makes me feel like being lucky to be a City fan at the moment.
