Mandaric situation
Rumours are
sirculating, faster and faster

The Milan
Mandaric rumours are something Leicester fans have to get used to.
They will not go away, but we all hope that they are untrue and that
the press can keep stay away.
The way Milan Mandaric has turned this club around, with great help
from Nigel Pearson, shows that he knows what he is doing and
hopefully he will stay with us for a very long time.
Rumours about him selling City and buying back Portsmouth is not to
our liking and hopefully it will never happen.
Leicester City is, with a Premier League status, could be a great
selling object. A club with a fantastic fanbase and also capable of
beeing among the best teams in England.
Back in the late 60' and early 70's they made some heavy transfer
deals both in from a selling and buying point of view. Players such
as Allan Clarke, Peter Shilton and David Nish was sold for record
fees and City flew high in the top league.
During the Martin O'Neill era several players put City on the map.
Muzzy Izzet appeared in the World Cup semi-final with Turkey, while
Steve Guppy and Emile Heskey made their England full debuts.
Neil Lennon, Matt Elliott, Theo Zagorakis, Robbie Savage, Gerry
Taggart and Kasey Keller also flew the City flag at the
international arena with N Ireland, Scotland, Greece, Wales and the
USA.
Leicester City could be attractive, and we are all just thinking
about one thing, and that is how high in the table we can get and
how many quality signings we can make to achieve that.
Fans don't care about owners, as long as they bring in good players,
we don't care about were the money come from and would all welcome
the sort of people that are running Chelsea's, Manchester City's,
Aston Villa's and Liverpool's.
But we all hope that Milan stays put and supports Nigel Pearson in a
way that makes it possible to return to the Premier League in a
short while. If it happens this season it will be above all
expectations. |
