Powell in charge, could it be time for Curbishley ?

Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric has turned to Chris Powell for the interim job as manager of Leicester City. Powell will be in charge until a new man is found. Powell himself could be in with a chance to become a permanent choice, but could this lead to a possible Curbishley appointment

Alan Curbishley has not been involved in management since ending his relationship with West Ham. He has been linked with a number of positions in England but so far nothing has happened.

The fact that Chris Powell now is placed in charge for the time being could it be an invitation to get Curbishley or is it just a conincedance that Powell for a long period of time, at Charlton, played under Curbishley.

It could be a bit of both, but Curbishley would be a fantastic choice if he was interested.

The fact that Leicester have lost a great manager makes you start wondering, but it's time to look forward, be optimistic and hope that the next manager at the club will lift us further.

The fact that a manager at Leicester have to sell to buy is part of the clubs history. Martin O'Neill and Jimmy Bloomfield, but successful guys at the club had to run the club as a business without getting big money bags, so I think it will be possible again to achieve great things if you do things right.

A number of candidates are allready been mentioned and here is an updated list of our hot, cool and cold candidates,

Hot: Paulo Sousa, Simon Grayson
Cool: Alan Curbishley, Iain Dowie, Micky Adams, Billy Reid, Tony Mowbray, Chris Coleman, Chris Powell
Cold: Gary Megson, Phil Brown, Gareth Southgate, Nigel Adkins, Mark Robins. Danny Wilson, Paul Ince
